If your looking for a big fish fishery this is your River. The Yampa is only float able for a short time each year. We fish three different section all have awesome trout and pike opportunities. So take advantage of this heavenly place. Once you have floated this River you will want to do it every year. Drive time is 10 to 25 mins from Steamboat.

One of the most beautiful section on the upper Colorado. About 11 miles float from our private put in to our private take out. Not only do you catch wild brown trout you may also see Otters, Big Horns, Eagles and Bears on this float trip.Drive time is 1.5 hrs from Steamboat.

This (Gold Medal fishery) has roughly six thousand fish per square mile. We float from Carbondale to two river boat access. About 1.5 hrs drive from Steamboat the fork is a pretty sweet river with lots of tricky trout. Streamers, Nymphs and Dries all work well. The trout sizes range from 14-24. Green Drake hatch in July is a pretty awesome time to throw dries!

Running parallel to I-70 the Eagle River will surprise you by the size of the fish that are in the River. Big browns over 20 are usually seen on every trip. Catching trout on dries, nymphs and streamers is very common. We float from Wolcott to Gypsum. The drive is about 1 hr from Steamboat.

The section of the North Platte River we fish is wild and scenic.One of the last true freestone river left in Co. We fish from N.gate to prospect. This float is action packed from start to finish and is typically a very long day. The dry fly fishing can be epic and the wildlife amazing. The Salmon flies the first week in June starts getting good.

17 miles of private waters on one of the last great western Rivers in Colorado. Three different sections all with big wild fish. This is not a stocked fishery. If you like fish numbers these may not be for you. But if you like streamer hunting for big fish this is your place. The 4 M Ranch also has lodge if need.
$150 a night per person to stay at the Ranch. Food & Drinks not included
Things you may want to bring with you on your float trip. Even if the weatherman say it going to be clear always bring that rain jacket, hat, sun glasses ,sunscreen, water. and fishing Lic.
